i know here its against the law to shoot from a moving vehicle... im not sure about a vehicle thats turned off

I hunted on the ground yesterday and didnt like it very much. You just dont get to see as much as you can in a stand.

When I was in Maine they told me that most moose shoot in the area where I was hunting were shot by driving down a logging road until you spotted a moose. Then the hunter gets out of his truck and sends him to that berry patch in the sky. I didn't know what to think of that.

I've killed all but one deer from the ground. I do like the view from a tall stand but every year the samething happens tome. I spend about two days putting up stands all over and I ALWAYS end up killing one from the ground. Next year I am not going to put up a single one.

Might be nice and comfortable,but VERY ILLEGAL in New York.
