Thanks guys. They were both really well placed shots, we bow hunt so we know the importance of shot placement. Mine was pretty close so it wasn't much of a challenge. My buddies was about 60 or 70 yards away and he had to shoot thru brush. He had to wait for the deer to walk past a hole he could shoot thru.

I'm better than he is off from a bench, but when crunch time comes that boy can shoot.

I was expecting better killing power from the 600 grn slug than what I get from my ML, but I guess that isn't the case. The slug just punched a nice round hole all the way thru. I don't even think it expanded at that range. I think next year I'm going with a better bullet design. He said his was destroyed inside. The heart and lungs were just mush. Very little blood from his as well.

Mine was around 150 lbs his was a hair under 170 lbs.

Excellent bucks nice shot placement. 60 to 100 yards without a heart is normal

Yep, it was from my condo in the sky. Poured all day long and I didn't get wet at all. The bad thing was my heater kept fogging up my windows[:@]. I bet you really feel sorry for me.
