The Sunday before Gun season opened up in Indiana, I missed a shot at a huge 12 pointer. It was my first shot ever at any deer with my bow and it had to be a giant. It was about 4:45 in the afternoon and I rattled and he appereared out in a field, 200 yards out. I blew my grunt tube with little response. I then bleeted at him and it was like a magnet. He walked the edge the field then cut up in some brush and circle around me. He then came to me shoulder to shoulder. He turned and I shot, the shot was defelcted by a branch. MY question is , I know he never saw me, never scented me, he ran about 10 yards then walkedd up a ridge. What are my chances of getting another shot. I am on private property, maybe one or two other hunters, but they will not walk back to where I hunt, it's to far they say.

Only one way to find out. He probably isn't spooked too bad. Welcome to the board.
