If you sighted in at 50yds and can be accurate you should be hitting at 100yds about the same unless you are jumping your shot or what I mean you are anticipating the kick of the gun and you are jumping right when you pull the trigger.If this is the case you need a firm rest take a deep breath and upon letting it out squeeze the trigger dont pull it.this works for me because my 7mag isnt light on the shoulder either.about the hunting pressure sometimes it can work to your advantage.

it depends on where you hunt at. One antlered and at least one antlerless, in some areas more antlerless. The 2005 regulation book has a county by county map of it all

I live here in Crawford county, every old timer I have talked to said it is the largest acorn crop they can ever remember, I have seen alot of deer on my place, they are in full rut here in mid Missouri, and arent having to look hard for food. Not that you wont kill one out in the fields but the hardwoods is a good place to start where the acorns are. But if your like me I have already scouted months ago. Goodluck!

I hunt in Warren county. This warm weather has got to go! I haven't seen much at all so far this year. Lots of tracks, everywhere, but no treesbeing torn up.So, I'm a little concerned, but I have a lot of days off coming up!

I had the same problem you do when I first started shooting. I was anticipating the kick, so I would always pull to the right. All I can say is you have to practice a bunch.
