reduced recoil 20 gauge slugs?

RE: reduced recoil 20 gauge slugs?
The only thing I can think of is don't give him a youth model 20 gauge as they are usually lighter and will definitely kick harder than a full size adult 20 gauge. With slugs, just stick with a 2 3/4"

A 20 guage 2.75" shell with a 1/2 oz. slug doesn't kick very hard at all . The 3/4 oz. ones I shoot do , but not that much more than the 1/2 oz. ones . I'm using a Charles Daly field model with a modified choke , a cylinder or improved cylinder would reduce it somewhat .

RE: reduced recoil 20 gauge slugs?
the gun he will be shooting is the h&r USH, which, as heavy as it is already, reduces quite a bit of recoil. my son is only 58 lbs(soaking wet). that's why i was really wondering if one was actually made................thanks guys
