Default rut schedules

Can anyone post a sight that has rut schedules for the '05
deer season?

I dont know where in Texas your hunting but right now in north Texas the does have not yet split but the bucks have. By the sighns it looks like the2nd or 3rdweek of November might be the peak. Im not a pro just an educated guess.

So with that being said, I guess this weekenf will be pre-rut.

I am hunting in Eastland county. Where about's are you hunting?

Young County about an hour south of wichita falls. There are a lot of deer but the the covers real heavy.

I was born in Wichita and still have a lot of family there.
I grew up hunting in Throckmorton on the Wagon creek ranch.
great deer hunting.

I didnt knwo the rut had a schedule. Thought it normally hit early to late NOV.

Whoa! Alabama rut schedule JANUARY????? No, I don't think so.... I'd say late November early december.

If you follow the teachings of Charles Alsheimer, probably the leading authority on whitetail rutting behavior, the peak of the rut this year should start on Nov. 13 and continue for 7-10 days.
