Anybody get good deer from Northern Illinios ?
 

I hunt Northeastern IL, and am only in my second season of hunting. I haven't seen or heard of any big deer from here even though IL is supposed to be a productive whitetail state. Anybody ?

I am from SW suburbs and my cousin got a 10 point. Neighbour hunts north-central IL and got a beautiful 8 point last year and an avergae 8 pt. this year.

I took a nice 10 pt with split brows that scored 156 1/2 and dressed at 210lb in Carroll Cty. We shot another one about 2 hrs before mine and 100 yds away that was a 10 pt that scored 140 and dressed at 195.

I am only a 150 miles or so south of Chicago. And I got a nice 13 pointer. A friend shot a huge 11 pointer a in November.
