looking for a rifle***help***
hello all,got a question i hope sombody can answer.
my father-in-law is looking for a 35 wahlin(not sure if that is the correct spelling)to hunt with. he moved from here in maine to arizona and would like a larger weapon to hunt elk with.was wondering who is the maker of this weapon. thanxs again archer |

Seems to me I recall a .35 Whalen pump in there somewhere also. Look 'em up. Before you buy, consider some of the heavy hitters for elk and moose, like the 7mm and, my favorites for big game, the mags and ultra mags - .300 or .338. Some folks don't like the recoil of these latter firearms. They pack a punch to be sure. But there is nothing like 'em for takedown power with you're talking to 'em long distance. |
