salt block

Has anyone ever used a 50 lb salt block? Do the deer like it? Does it attract the deer? ect?

I have used salts before. I have a area where set the salt block that the deer paw at.

Not legal here. I understand that it is more effective in the spring when they need the minerals for fawn and antler development.
