Help!!!!

Found a great spot yesterday and shot at a doe, I think I missed but I looked for the arrow and any blood for about an hour until it was pitch black and didn't find anything, couldn't even find my arrow. I'm going out there after work to look again, the question I have is do you think it would be worth sitting in that stand again today, or should I leave it for a few days before going back. I'm 90% sure I missed the deer and I jumped two more deer that were with that one when i went to look for my arrow. To return or not that is the question.

RE: Help!!!!

I would vote to definetly look again for the deer but hunting the stand is a no. You have left too much scent around the stand while looking for the deer. Track the one you shot and let the stand rest for a week or so if possible.

Stay away from the stand for at least a week, but spend the entire time in a stand like setting in your back yard practicing shooting.

RE: Help!!!!

If you missed you should be able to find the arrow especially if you were in a stand. Find the arrow and then you will know if you hit the deer or not.

RE: Help!!!!

I think more effort should be put into locating the arrow. 90% sure you missed. Should have a good ideawhere the shot went. If no arrow, then probably should find a DOE somewhere. Not an easy task, but sometimes the deer can hide is some strange places. I have used my dog to help locate a deer I couldn't find. Good Luck!!
