its a toss up between open fields, and woods. I utilize both.

we don't have woods where i hunt. we do have brush country near the river bottom, creeks and plum thickets. most kills will be in open country with a long shot probably 75% of the time.

Woods..specifically the break between open hardwoods an thickets.

same here so i chose open fields even though i sometimes get just inside of the woods.

i prefer woods bc thats were i usuallly hunt but when u are in a feild it is lighter so u can hunt longer

I prefer thick woods where there are small "openings"... they're great for spot& stalk. Or the edge between hardwoods and a strip of wood that was cut a few years back and is growing back into thick stuff.
