gas vs. diesel when it comes to scouting
Gas prices are on the rise. I was just wondering what all you hunters that have trucks are running? I personally have a jeep grand cherokee and harvested a doe this past weekend. Well it was around where i live so i got my dads pickup truck and hauled it home and to the registration.

RE: gas vs. diesel when it comes to scouting
I don't really see what this is all about, but I'll play too. I drive a 2004 Ford F350 crewcab FX4 dually with a 6.0 ltr diesel, but for scouting and hunting, I drive a 2004Yamaha Big Bear 400 four wheeler. I drive 50,000+/- miles a year, and $3.00 diesel is killing me. Fortunately, my hunting land in Texasis within a 4 wheeler ride from my house, but I also have a place in northwest Oklahoma (600 miles away)that I usually see about 8 times a year. Anybody want to contribute to my diesel bill this fall?

I drive a 2002 Trans Am it does pretty good on gas, but my hunting truck is a 1986 toyota 4x4 and i drive it all the time except for taking my girlfriend out on the weekends it gets pretty good gas mileage.
