RE: moultrie ditigal camera

I have had no problem with quality, but I have a problem w/ battery life. I check my cam every week and it is dead everytime I go and check it. I guess I am just going to have to invest in a solar charger. I have a company laptop, so it makes it easy to take my computer in the field and download the pics straight to my computer w/out even taking the cam off the tree. I have one question....Does anyone know what the camera ID setting is for? I haven't really looked into it yet, but before I do I thought maybe one of you guys know. Anyway.. here are some pics from the cam.

that's for when you have more then one, it will imprint the camera ID before the date so you know wich pics came from wich camera..

In the cam ID I usually put the location of the cam: hickory creek, honey hole, etc..

RiverBottomBowHunter, how do you take care of spelling the locations? I thought it would only ID the location(s) by number. But if we can actually spell the location - that's extra cool.

Just go to the cam ID and start hitting the up and down arrows.

Ah. So the names you can choose for the ID locations are chosen from a prescribed menu? I can't use terms like "the creek stand", "the oaks", "the bucket" or "the saucer"?

No, its like putting your name in a video game after getting the highest score. I wonder if you cant do that with certain ones. I have the camo one.

OK, thanks, I feel like an idiot for asking but I just didn't know and I thought it may had something to do w/my battery running down so quickly. Obviously it doesn't maybe I just got a bad camera, thanks guys for answering my question.
