Cabelas Rain Gear

I'm in the market for some new rain gear. My main purchasing points are quietness, breathable, lighweight (i'm in SoCal). I'm looking at the Cabelas MT050 rain gear. This stuff is not cheap, so I'm looking for some personal opinions on how this clothing works. It does not rain all that much out here, so I need it for morning and evening cool temperatures and capabilty of layering underneath. I will also take it east for NY bow/gun season, so layering is very important. Does anyone use this clothing? If so, how do you like it?
One last thing, how about Natural Gears 4x4 pants and matching jacket? Anyone use it?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Cabelas Rain Gear

Wife and I both bought the MT050 Jacket last year and we've been very satisfied with it. Got the one with Gore-Tex and Scent-Lok and the jacket is nice and quiet. I won't buy outter-gear that isn't Gore-Tex, not found anything that breathes as well and is still 100% waterPROOF. Highly recommended. I'm not totally happy with the position of the hand-pockets but that's my only beef. Need the matching bibs now but they are REALLY spendy. At least when we get them we should be good to go for most of our hunting. We hunt here in Washington and it's pretty cold during Deer and Elk and the coats are good for those conditions. Not sure how they'll work in a warmer climate.

I have the Cabela's MT050 and wouldn't use anything else. I also have trhe companion Goretex Gloves. I'd buy them again with even LESS THOUGHT than I used to purchase these. You can't go wrong.

I've had my MTO50 for a couple years...great rainsuit! I wear
mine mainly during mild weather with some layering underneath.
It's packable in its own pocket, so I can throw it in my
backpack or fanny pack on days I'm not sure about the weather.
