My wife thinks I'm diabolical..You decide if she's right.
Let me tell you a little story. This past weekend (the 17th), I enlisted my wife to help me prepare my tripod feeder and setup a ground blind and clear lanes. A friend who works every other weekend helped me to clear the lanes, but my wife and I had to return there to finish clearing the lanes. We were also going there to place corn down one lane and fill a feeder at another site.
My friend and I had been kidding around with my wife about buying an ATV, but it was always a steadfast NO! We arrived at the camp around 6:30am and started offloading the 500 pounds of corn. However, the look on her face when I said we had to carry the tripod feeder, and the 500 pounds of corn over 600 yards to my tripod stand was truly hilarious to behold. I'll give her credit, she lugged (and griped) and pulled (and griped) the corn and the feeder with me for about 200 yards. After about 15 mins of this, she asked to see where we were going. I took her the remaining 400 yards to the stand.
It then dawned on her that this would be a long day. She looked at me, narrowed her eyes, and said, "Drop the corn and feeder, and let's go look at 4 wheeler's."
Now, what's diabolical about that?
(By the way, we go to pick up my new ATV this coming saturday!)
