That actually seems really dangerous to me. I don't think that youngster should be hunting until he can handle the gun properly.
What if the gun had fired again when he fell down? SCARY, not funny.

I feel the "Dad" is a complete a-hole. The young guys could easily have his shoulder dislocated or broken. The gun could have went off again "accidentally" when the little guy was dropping it.
I find nothing funny about it. It seems more like child abuse than anything else I can think of.
How about we get Dad to hold a small cannon against his shoulder and fire it so he gets dropped on his rear?
I would guesss the father's IQ to be less than the gauge of the shotgun.
