last thursady, when my sons hunters ed. class was ending, the local GW came in to hand out a couple of papers to class regaurding 'new laws for vt' , he had just picked a couple of small -maybe 75lbs- deer that had been hit. he said one he had to shoot, the other was already d.o.a. . The next day i saw two more beside the road. one was a good sized doe, the other still had spots.- just a lttle thing. son wasnt really impressed, said it was to bad, know they wont get older for him to try and hunt. --told him its just the way.

my dad was up near chicago the other day, and one of his buddies called him and told him to look at the side of the road at a certain point.....he said a deer was hit, and "You are gonna be sick!" My dad was like, ive hunted for about 3 decades, ive seen alot, thinking about the most gore he had seen or whatever. Anyways, when he went by the spot, there was a bucket of a digger picking it up, and he said all he could see was the rack....and it was HUGE....he said that it had 12-14 points and prolly about 18-10 inches wide.....granted....he did feel sick.
