My wife's kidney transplant

Well boys and girls, we're off to Birmingham today for my wife's kidney transplant. Turns out that I'm a perfect match, so I'll be donating one of mine! Anyway, hopefully I'll be recovered by bow season which starts here Oct. 15th. Ya'll have fun and kill a big one for me!

Sounds like you are going to the right place. Some of the best medical facilities in the South are in Birmingham. Good luck, you should be ready to go by the start of gun season. Where in South Bama are you located?

Timber, I'm from Dothan. I travel through your fine town quite often on the way to Destin and Pensacola.

Best wishes Trophy!

Look at it this way too. If she ever divorces you, she might take you for an arm and a leg, but she'll already have her share of your kidney!

Good luck!

Hope you both well, that's true love to give one of your organs. Even if you miss part of the season, there will be a big rack waiting for you out in the woods! Both of you get well soon.

GOOD LUCK!!!! My best friend gave me a kidney April 1st 2004!!

Don't get too excited about being ready by October 15th, either. It sure would be nice, but it would be best to take it slow. My friend was not able to really get going at full strength for close to 8 weeks. If you push it, you can end up in some serious trouble. I know it sucks to miss a season (missed spring turkey last year after drawing a tag in my first year of applying), but you will be better off to wait. Make sure you talk with your doctors before even thinking about pulling that string back!

Oh, and did I say GOOD LUCK!!
