Arm & Hammer ?

I also posted this in the Bowhunting but I am wanting to wash my hunting clothes in A&H and I know it does wonders on eleminating odors but does it contains any kind of UV brighteners and will it leave a UV on my hunting clothes? Thanks in advance:D

Most brand name scent killers are made from it. So I don't see why it would hurt.

I have been doing it for 50yrs. I wash my hunting clothes in unscented soap
and then put them in a wash tub in cold water withArm&Hammer for a couple
of hours. Then pull them out and let drip dry. When completely dried I roll
them up with some lighter pine in between the rolls andput them in clear plastic
bags.

I too have been using it for years. One thing to keep in mind is that this product is designed to absorb odor, so ensure that the hunting clothing is rinsed well, very well. If not, you may actually abosrb undesirable odors on your hunting clothes....

USP on the box means that it's straight bicarbonate of soda , no enhancers . BTW , any box ofbaking sodathat says that is just as good as Arm & Hammer , chemically they'rte all the same.

I haven't done a lot of research on the UV brightening thing, but I don't buy into it a single bit from what I have seen or heard about. If an ad for a detergent I saw in a magazine was accurate, it makes you look more or less to a deerlike someone's gone over you with a highlighter. If that's what you're trying to tell me, forget it. Deer have sat and stared at me when I made a wrong move for what seems like hours and then looked away and went about their business. Break up your outline if you can and don't worry about something like UV brightening that certainly doesn't seem like it can be proved or supported is my 2 cents.
