There's stupid people in the North, and in the South. In the East, and in the West. That should about cover it.

In NY, down near Binghamton a couple of years ago, some idiot shot a hunter wearing BO while in a tree stand.

One year while hunting deer in Perry,FL. I had climbed a big Oak tree and
was sitting in one of it's limbs, when all of a sudden a man and a woman
started shootingsquirrels up in the tree. I was at fault for not having on the
bright orange jacketor orange cap on. Now I use a Bright orange vest while
doing any kind of hunting.

I think the biggest thing to remember, is even if a GOOD hunter is following all the rules, and they see their target, and what appears to be safe shooting beyound it.

But if you are sneaking around in a full camoflauged Ghilli suit, a hunter may never know you are there, and YOU COULD GET SHOT.
I've read most of the posts by the person who started this thread. And 2 things keep coming to me mind.

#1 - This person is an Anti-Hunting Spy who is trying to gather evidence to make hunters look bad.

#2 - This is either a very young person, or the most naive "city slicker" I've ever seen. ENROLL IN HUNTERS EDUCATION!

Im not anti hunter. I dont hunt for anything but eating my kill and keeping its fur. I have nothing against other people doing it but for me I'll feel bad killing an animal for the sport of it. Maybe I will get myself desensitizedI havent hunted yet just planning to.

unless your bowhunting, most states require at least a blaze orange vest, but even when i'm bow hunting, i'll wear orange to and from the stand, there are some very triggerhappy people in the world
