Spike Hunter

Thanks for those of you who responded to my request for some education on 6mm remington. As I had satated, I had just p/u a 1990 version Model 7 w/ the 18.5" barrel. My Dad has just finished loding the Nosler Partitions I had asked him to load in new Remmy brass. I am not a loader so I may have the powder wrong but I think It is "Reloader 119" or something like that. According to Nosler it is one of the best powders to load "partitions" with. I also believe maximum factory spec capacity in the 6mm brass is 46 grains of powder. Anyway, to the point....Dad loaded several different loads withthis brass and settled on 45.5 grains running somewhere about 2860 +/- fps w/ 100 gr "partitions" ran the final loads a couple of days ago. They are shooting a 3-shot 3/8"or less at 100yds off the bench !!!! Damn accurate!! Now allI need to do is wait for hunting season. Thanks for your help. Be safe and take your kids hunting!!!!
