"Deer & Deer Hunting" on the Outdoor Channel
I saw "Deer & Deer Hunting" for the first time last night on the Outdoor Channel and I thought it was awesome. Has anybody else seen this? The thing I really liked about it is that the material can really help the average deer hunter, like me. They weren't hunting over bait piles or hunting onhigh fenced ranches. Instead, they were hunting public property which is more reflective of the type of hunting that most of us on this board are used to.
Personally, I wish that there were more hunting shows like D&DH. Make sure you watch it if you haven't seen it yet.

Sorry, seems I jumped the gun alittle.
The show seems like it is quite different then what is generally already on. Half of the shows listed above dont interest me because they dont/wont apply to me. But the show still sounds like it might be fun to watch and a good change of pace............

I'm a very big fan of D&DH TV. It's really the only show out there right now that is meant to provide information to help deer hunters become more successful. Sure they don't kill as many deer or as big of deer as a lot of shows, but at this point who really needs to see more big deer killed on film??
I think Doug Below did an excellent job this week with his tips for hunting public land. The footage was great, and that was a very nice deer he managed to harvest. Overall, a great show and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
I also think Bowhunter Magazine TV has been doing a good job as well. Their gear reviews and Randy Ulmer's shooting tips are great. This week's segment on back tension was very informative for a lot of people who have trouble understand just what it is and how to properly use it.
