Very Very Very Small Tick

I was in the shower and looked at my leg and saw a red spot.
When I got out it looked like a splinter.
I got a Alcohol pad and rubbed it and took twesers and pulled it off.
Then looked at it with a magnafieing glass.

And gues what it is a very small tick.
I have never seen one this small.

So I scanned it on my scanner and here is what it looked like.

keep an eye on that, my wife found one similar and it was a deer tick. the dr. put her on preventative antibiotics just in case. they didn't test it, and she hasn't shown the "bullseye." nothing to joke with, in southern maine we've had a bunch of confirmed lyme cases.

go to a DR. and get the antibiotics. can't hurt and could save you a bunch of grief. And that's putting it nicely. It's a Tetracycline Antibiotic Such as Doxycycline, Tetracycline Hyc, etc. ask your Doctor.
