Yesterday, my buddy and I went out to the farm to put some trail cameras out. On the way home, I decided to ride past one of our peanut fields. Sure enough, five deer were out there feeding. They all had their heads down except one. I could tell he was a buck. We drove on down the road and came back with bino's this time. I told my friend, "I bet they are all bucks". I honked the horn and up came all of the heads. Four eight points and one six! The first eight point is HUGE....with time to grow! I'll try and get some pics this week for you guys. Come on October 15th!

That is definitely something to get excited about. Bachelor groups are real enthusiasm-getters. Hopefully the next time you see that big 8 he will be in your sights.
