.My father who has hunted for 50+years absolutley shudders at the idea.I was reluctant as well but not anymore.Also yes attracting the deer in with scent is what its all about.Deer smell that odor and just gotta know what it is.

Back to Walmart:There Doe Pee has worked great as a cover scent(spray around me not on me).It's not a doe in heat or anything like that but just well doe pee.The does really want to know who the new girl is,lol. If you really want to make a buck mad,pee in his scrape.It drives them nuts.

So you guys hold your own urine just as valuable or more so then the commercial buck urines and active scrape scents? I am going to absolutely HAVE to try that out this year. Do you put your mocks in and around current real scrapes or just anywhere you know there are deer present?

Leave the scents in the store. the only scent you need is cover scent. I have had some luck with scents, but ive also had them run once they caught wind of it. Stick with calls, Cover scents, good scouting, wind direction, and good ol dumb luck

I know a guy that uses a pee bottle. Well, he used it a time or two in the early season and left it in his stand. Came back a couple weeks later and decided to experiment with it. His stand was already positioned near a scrape sohe poured the bottle of urine into the scrape. Came back a few days later to hunt the stand and he said the area was torn to shreds.......new scrapes, new rubs, trees trashed. Apparently he pissed off the wrong buck! lol He never did connect with the deer though but based on his account I'd be willing to try it.
