Yes they are standing on the homemade mineral lick, also they are using it as a scrape and licking branch area.

Almost forgot to give dates. First picture is September 6th and so is Second. Third picture is August 20th and picture above is August 7th.

This picture is August 18th.


He is the second smallest buck picture this year. But a nice 6

Nice pix. I've been debating getting one. You've convinced me. What kind do you have? At our local Wally World (Wal-Mart) they have a Moultrie Game cam (black model) for $100. Is this a good one?

I have a 1998 Camtrakker. I have yet to here many good things about that one.

And finally my favorite. I have alot more but these are the flip of the coin the choices. Even have more buck pictures believe it or not.

But if she shows up I will not shoot her if I know it's her. She is a GOOD MOMMA the picture just before this one she was on the other side of the fawn and the flash went off and she got little upset.

Almost looks like her body is just as big as the bucks.

WHITETAIL DEER HOMEMADE MINERAL MIX RECIPE
Printable version
Ingredients: Makes 200 lbs. for about $23.00

1 part Di-calcium phosphate, this is a dairy feed additive bought at feed stores.
Comes in 50lb Bags at around $11.00 you need one bag.

2 parts Trace mineral salt, the red and loos kind without the medications.
Comes in 50lb Bags at around $5.00 you need two bags.

1 part Stock salt, ice cream salt.
Comes in 50lb Bags at around $2.00 you need one bag.

Directions:

-Use a 3 pound or similar size coffee can to use as your measure for each part of the mix.

-Mix all together well but not until read to use, keep ingredients separate until ready to put to use.

-Dig or tear up a circle in the soil about 36 inches wide and about 6 inches deep.

-Mix your mineral mixture with the soil.

Maintenance:

-Replenish in 6 months with fresh supply of mineral, and then each year there after.

Started looking through old photo's do you think the fourth photo and this one could be the same buck?


Picture taken July 31st 1999 we called him pronghorn as a nickname because of the photos and the times we saw him in the stand.

Also do you think these bucks could be the twin bucks above?
