Best part of the story is that I stopped by my friends house to share the story with him and when I pull in his driveway, teh two women are there with him.It was all they could do to hide.

One of the most fascinating things I ever saw was while sitting in a tree stand a hawk scared the crap out of me when it came out of nowhere and landed on a branch not five feet from me. It was looking the other way for about 10 minutes and then turned around and stared at me for several more. It actually stepped towards me before taking off again.
Once while catching sunfish with my kids in Minnesota, one of them was pulling a little sunny up when a northern pike grabbed hold of the sunny. He hauled that four pound pike onto the pontoon despite the fact it wasn't hooked -- it just wouldn't let go of its meal!
