rattling in GA

I have always read about rattling and how well it works out in texas and kansas. but i have tried many times in GA and it never seems to work around here and ive never talked to anyone that had any success with it. Can anyone tell me why this is?

Just a guess, but it probably has something to do with the buck:doe ratio. If you have a high ratio, then the bucks dont have to compete as much for the does.

That would be my thoughts as well.

Another suggestion would be to not use those huge store bought antlers. One of our southern bucks hears those 200" antlers rattling, they might run for the hills! Rattling works for me in south central Alabama, but we've worked very hard on our buck to doe ratio. Hope this helps.
