When I was in college, I got stuck in the middle of a thunderstorm while bowhunting. No warning, no indication it was coming. It was cloudy all day...but not overly dark.

The first sign was hail that was about 1/2" in diameter, and I actually had some bumps on my hands from where the hail was hitting me. I couldn't get out of the tree fast enough..LOL
