Why do you hunt?
 

I hunt because I love it. I started when I was old enough to hold a gun. One of the best things about hunting was seeing the look of appreciation on my parents face when I brought home fresh meat. They always supported my hunting even though my mother hated guns and my father couldn't stand to kill an animal after coming back from WWII.
That's where I came from and that's where I'll always be.

I love the peace and quiet of the the outdoors. To converse with nature ,even though I don't know what it is saying !!!!

Mainly to be in the woods, then there is all that tasty meat.

i love it...the thrills being close to some of the smartest animals in the world...getting to spend time with my dad...the peace and quiet...being in the outdoors...i just love it!(notice nobody says for the kill because thats really not what anybody hunts for is just to kill so eat that peta!)

I love being out in the woods, its so peaceful and quiet, its the only thing that keeps me sane. Its the pursuit that gets me, to try to take something thats elusive and keen. I like being out and watching the change of seasons right before your eyes. Its my get away from the busy life I live. I get out there and its gone. I love the scouting part of it and the leg work. finding new sign and trying to figure what and where the animals going and doing. And I thank god that im able to do what I love to do and hope we never lose it
