I am assuming that those were taken with a trail camera? If not good job with the camera. Are they not afraid to be that close to your house? By the way those are nice bucks.

Scouting is a litlte slow down where I hunt this time of the year. The deer really dont move around much when the high temperature is around 105 degrees, but im going down anyways toour lease near laredo with my dad on friday. Its supposed to be 107. I doubt we will see any deer.

By the way, whereabouts do you hunt?

That bottom one will be a bruiser. 3 main beams if Im seeing it right. You wouldnt even need a treestand to shoot one of them. Just open your window. [:-]

All pics were taken on semi-private island. It requires a ferry to get there, and there are no-non essential cars allows. As you could guess the deer are no longer fearful of people, and no hunting is allowed in this area.

Tex,
As far as the pics are concerned, I was actually that close when they were taken. In some cases it was less that a few feet.

Thx guys..

PSEB...Yes, that deer has either four main beams, or a large brow tine, drop tine and a split main beam.
