7 Mag load...your thoughts?

I just got my new 7MM Mag, it was a journey..but worth the wait. Any ways, was at the range to try it out and get the load I am going to use for whitetail this year.

To make this short, I found the Federal Premium Nosler Ballistic tips 150 Gr. to give me outstanding groups and by far the best of what I tested.

What do you guys think of this choice in a 7 Mag?

Thanks

I think you will be great with this load. Just aim behind the shoulder as these are frangible bullets. Others may disagree with me but that is fine but you should have no problem with any deer that walks with that load. I just hope you get a monster 12 pointer. Good luck.

i dont shoot 7mm,but i shoot a .270(pretty close).i shoot hornady ammo.i would suggest shooting hornady.try it,see if it shoots well in your gun.SST's or BTSP's should work.

For deer and all medium sized game this load will work fine.I use the 140gr ballistic tips in my stw for deer, pronghorn and bighorn and get quick clean kills. For moose or elk I would switch to a partition or similar premium bullet.
