RE: Decoys
I would use it for doe hunting on food plots and off the sides of cutovers. I just would like to ease the tension and draw deer in. If the decoys arnt moving does that scare deer? I would like to hear more storys with these. Im thinking about buying just a siloete though because they are only 24 dollars!

RE: Decoys
I've never seen a decoy scare a deer away just because it wasn't moving. In fact I've seen countless videos of bucks actually charging and destroying buck decoys. As for the silhouette decoys I think they are OK but deffinately not as lifelike as a 3d deer. I would rather try and find a cheep 3d version before going with the silhouette.

RE: Decoys
I am buying a Flambeau for this year(private property) I like the Renzos but wonder if they will flap around and make too much noise on a windy day.

RE: Decoys
They're great for attracting other hunters, not much else.

RE: Decoys
ORIGINAL: rick_reno They're great for attracting other hunters, not much else. I agree if you're hunting public land with a ton of people on it but I use mine on 50 acres of private land and must say that the deer it's pulled in don't seem to be complaining.:) |
RE: Decoys
How many deer do you think it has pulled? I know a fawn always goes first into fields and such so if I did this I was thinking maybe I could trick bigger deer out!

RE: Decoys
I am using a Delta Decoy a little pricey but love it,
can be used as a buck or doe!:) |
