Ok, I must be board but I went out in the rain today and sat in a fence row just to do some nature watching. I saw my first buck in velvet of the year. Only bumps about 3in but still a buck. This got me super pumped for the summer and the fast approaching hunting season, only 4 months. I got the itch and its not the ivy! (Knock on wood)

I know what you mean I am ready to get into the woods. I have a bumb shoulder and have been walking around and going to the farm to do some scouting. I will be pulling the trail cameras sunday hopefully we have soem good pictures on them.

Thanks Derek have fun this weekend should be good weather down there. I was hoping that we would have seen some closer that day we were at your place.

I'll post them up when I get back and hopefully I get some good ones.

I have the itch all year long when it isnt deer season. I find myself thinking about bow hunting whitetails while Im turkey hunting lol. Im going to put the camera out sometime this week if I have time.

My itch usually goes away when fishing season gets into full swing, but now that I have a new camera and toys to play with, I'm wishin' bow season started tomorrow! I've already been out in the tree stand filming some does and will probably hit some fields later this week, especially if the weather is cool like they are predicting. We saw 4 bucks in velvet last Friday!
