Finally getting out!

RE: Finally getting out!
Here is a dead buck I found - amazingly where I was looking for one! Kyle and I had hunted a spot late season last year where we watched a cayote chew at a frozen "something" one very cold morning. It was probably 80 yards from our stand, and at the moment I couldn't see any body - just what I thought was a gut pile or something. By the end of the hunt - I had forgotten about it and never checked.
Yesterday, with Fort Worth on the flank position - I came around a dead tree and saw a rack. Dallas following behind me with the camera - for a moment as I got close to the buck - I thought it was "Hugh Hefner". I was somewhat relieved at the thought because I haven't found or seen the buck since the day we filmed him. Upon picking up the head - I realized it was a different buck - a nice 8-point. Probably a 130 class buck - great mass - and a shame to find!
Enjoy the pics guys! Get outside when you can - it's a great and cold place to be lately!

Yeah Todd, nice find! The wind direction and the moon phase was right for shed huntind yesterday. I only found one nice shed but it looks as if it was ran over by a truck. Yep, if the weather holds up I will be shed hunting all weekend.
