I'm putting out an open invitation for a cameraman/hunter for a week-long bowhunt at Campbell Illinois Whitetails in Southern IL, filming for the Campbell Outdoor Challenge. Originally HuntingNet President Todd Graf and I were supposed to go together, but unfortunately some business stuff has come up and Todd can't make it. So I need someone to come film and hunt with me for a week.

Here's the details:

The hunt dates are Weds. Oct 24 thru Tues. Oct 30th. I'm leaving from my office in Northern IL on the evening of Tuesday the 23rd. The drive is about 380 miles from our office to Carmi, IL, which would be about 6 hours long. You can either meet me here at our office and we can ride together, of if you're closer to Carmi you can meet me there.

Hunting start at noon on the 24th and goes until noon on the 30th, giving us 2 1/2 day hunts, and 4 full days. We have a total of 5 days of hunting, giving us 10 total hunts. I'm willing to give up 4 of those hunts to whomever wants to come with, if you have an Illinois bow tag and want to hunt. So you'll be hunting 4 times, and filming the other 6. If someone just wants to come and film, I'm fine with that.

We will reimburse you for any travel expense for getting either here or there, and the entire event has already been paid for by us. This includes meals, lodging, and the hunt itself. Plus, we get to keep all of our footage and should be get a kill or two on film, we can use it for the upcoming WKP 2008 release. Not to mention it will be featured on the Campbell Outdoor Challenge TV show next year as well.

Todd - if we get a WKP team member to come with, we can tack on WKP as one of our "sponsors" as well. Meaning when we're doing Interviews it will be something like "Team HuntingNet - sponsored by HuntingNet.com and White Knuckle Productions" and we'll make sure to get some WKP gear in there as well.

Hey chase - I appreciate the offer but Christine beat everyone to the punch and as of right now she's in for the challenge. Now I just have to teach her how to use the camera, and hang a Lone Wolf stand in the dark!
