Default Velvet Fever!

Well, I must admit - I've lasted longer than I thought, but I've got the itch. Drove like hell from Denver yesterday - getting a nice ticket in Central Nebraska, just to make it home to glass last light, and we made it! Didn't see many deer, but getting a good wiff of a cool summer July evening sucked me in and now I'm going after them!

Talked with Craig Niece and Justin Zarr last night, they saw and filmed an incredible number of bucks last night, including some real gaggers! Justin was pretty pumped when I talked to him last night! Friggen sweet guys!

It's nice to know that we've got multiple team members out everynight capturing footage of deer in they're areas. Sure is cool seeing a nice buck, and capturing footage is just a big bonus! Fun to share with everyone! Hopefully after filming all week, I'll head back to Michigan this weekend with a couple tapes of monsters! I can only hope-so!

Keep at it boys, I love the velvet footage and would like to have even more in next years video, so make sure you're getting good footage eh!

To bad about the ticket, but some things are just worth bending the numbers on the speed limit signs every now and then.I have noticed the batchlor groups around my area are no shows lately compared to three weeks ago But the weather has been pretty humid lately. good luck getting those slobs on camera!!

I might have to fist fight Todd and Craig first, but you never know.

I don't care who shoots him, as long as they get it on film for next year's DVD.

Here's a shot from the back. He's got great height, tines, and mass. He's definitely a stud buck.

What a buck, man you guys have some awesome genes out there. I was just talking to my dad and it turns out his good friends' brother just closed the deal on a 175 acre lot somewhere in IL, so maybe I'll be out there sometime in the next couple of years.
