RE: shipping guns?
I've found the post office works well however you'll neen to have them mailed to a licenced firearms dealer, some do it for free, some charge a small fee. Hope this helps.

RE: shipping guns?
dealer to dealer works fine and its insured. they ship through airport to airport and you pick it up at the airport

RE: shipping guns?
VA HEAD HUNTER, how does that airport to airport work, don't you still have to fill out the ream of worthless paperwork?
|
RE: shipping guns?
Pull the bolts out of the guns or at least something to keep them from being a full operational firearm and you will have Gun Parts. These are legal to ship and insurable. I've done this before and it works fine. It's the easiest way. Fed Ex and UPS suck you can't even ship parts or guns to warranty centers. Liberals are ruining this world fast.
If my government doesn't trust me with my guns why should I trust them with theirs. |

Standingpipe
Even if you take the gun apart you are required to have a FFL to ship the action or frame . The other parts you can ship legally . UPS does accept firearms but you have to have a signed copy of the dealer's FFL you are shipping to and can only ship to the address on the FFL. |
RE: shipping guns?
UPS would not let me ship to an FFL at all they said I had to ship from ffl to ffl or from individual to Manufacturer, This country is getting so stupid on its firearm regulations the liberals are doing everything they can to make us criminals. I told the post office exactly what I was doing and they had no problem with it at all. Just my personal experience.

RE: shipping guns?
you can ship guns though the airport how else would a guy beable to take a gun to a dif state to hunt?
If you are shiping your own guns you do not need to fill out all the crap papper work. |
RE: shipping guns?
ELKINMTCWB, I think you are right. However I believe you have to check the firearms in to the airlines yourself. His Grandmother would be the one sending them so someone with a dealers licence would have to recieve them at the airport. There are other ways, but the fines are pertty steep!
