Turkey hunting in Colorado

Does anybody here hunt turkeys in Colorado? I live in the Denver area and would like to get into turkey hunting but don't have a clue as to wich units have turkeys in them. I've looked at the CDOW's website is there anywhere else that I can look?

I don't really go to any gun shops per say. They always seem to up tight. I will check the Gander Mtn, and Sportsmanswarehouse. Good idea. Thanks

start from Morrison and head up into the Pike NF. there are birds in all the front range counties, just drive up into the forest access roads from now till season to see them. all the river drainages to the east have birds too. now is the time to look for them as they are bunched up. not that they will be in the same place come season, but you'll see some and get an idea of where to start looking for them. we usually get a big snow storm on opening day. follow the snow line down from the ridges as that is where the best new green spouts are that they eat. they move a lot, not like eastern birds that roost in the same area all the time. so you have to move around a lot and call. all the calls work, I like the excited hen call, brings them running. much easier to hunt than eastern birds.
good luck.
