Default deer population

i live in western washington, and i think it would be a wise decision for the game department to outlaw doe hunting. also make it 2 point or better. unless your under the age of 12 or something. i have been hunting here for 10 years, and have noticed a steady decrease of deer in the area. not because of hunting but the hair loss disease has killed many deer. we need to get the population increased.

Default RE: deer population

We had some of the same problem with hair loss and DFG has cut back on the doe tags in some areas . We have always had forked horn or better for buck in western Oregon . Last year there were few fawns and this year I have seen more does with twins than I have singles . Nature seems to be helping around here .
