Dove hunting and hunter orange

I am going on my first dove hunt next week and was wondering about hunter orange. I'll be on public land. I hear it can be a circus and I worry about low shots from other hunters who may not see me if I am sitting against a stand of russian olive trees.

Do any of you wear hunter orange while dove hunting (even just a hat) or does this allow the birds to mark you? BTW it is not required in WA for dove hunting.

Thanks

RE: Dove hunting and hunter orange

I have some hunter orange on my bird hunting vest, and I wear an orange Remington hat. It's not a bad idea to wear some orange. Every little bit helps. Just my 2cnets.

i will wear a orange hat when entering an area and I make my presence very obvious to other hunters then when its hunting time the hat goes in the bag on my hunting chair.
