Need dove honey hole in CO!
Im in the army and just got back from iraq, dont have no time to scout as the season opens on the first of sept. please help me out....

Just drive 30 miles East of Fort Collins (out in the flatland/wheat country) and just drive around until you find trees and/or water holes. You won't have a problem finding doves.

I haven't hunted on post for a long time, but there were always some good spots down by the ponds and tree lines near them, there used to be some good sunflower patches down there too. these would be the ponds south east of the helo hangers and west of the dixon power plant. you have to check the current requirements for hunting on post.
