Oregon Elk Hunting
 
I was Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to elk hunt in western oregon??This is my first year hunting elk any advise is greatly aperciated.

Now that would depend on a lot of things. From your Name, I would take it that
you will be Bow hunting. I would suggest you hunt the Alsea unit or the Siuslaw
unit. Those 2 units are very good. I would get in touch with the Siuslaw National
Forest HQ in Corvallis and have them send you some maps of the National Forest
and start from there. Good Luck!:D

thanks those to units are not that for from where i live in salem i will have to get out there and start scoutin thanks again

Try Trask Mt. I have taken and seen very good elk there! It is hard hunting but it keeps the weak and undedicated away.
