RE: E.WA early ML Elk

Ya that's the area... my buddy is a " Stick Flinger";) then closing down the gate kind of thwarted him from going, they'd set their base camp up and hunt from there. He's more into fishing know thatn hunting so he's more likely to be on a river than a ridge come the Fall. It's the place I'm thinking of though...lost of Elk that's for sure. and to listen to the Scuttlebutt over here you may run inot a Longbeard or two up that way:D

No offense on the Stick Flinger comment, I hope I just use that to ruse him every once in a while.

It wasn't I thought we were going to be one of those statistics you see about " Greenhorns" in the MT. wildreness gettin eatin by a griz[:'(] I think it cut through camp right before dawn and it put our mule team on edge, one pack mule broke free and took off on a mile long rampage scattering our gear throughout the " Bob" hurt his leg so bad,we had to load up the remaining gear on the saddle mules and walk the team out (16 miles) to the rig[&:][:'(][:@] Oh well I did get up close and personal with a Cow moose, first time I ever seen one in the wild, so other than the Griz scare I enjoyed it and would love to live there.
