having mt lion over population problems. like whats going on in idaho
if you are a big game hunter in idaho you might want to think about packing a Pistol or
Revolver as a back up.. most of the mt. lion quotas in the units have been filled.. i have seen 2 in th wild in the past 4 years without dogs. i just happened to be hiking on a trail, luckily i was armed. The lion kept just enough ahead of me that i could not zap him considering i payed the $10 to get a tag just a week earlier. if you read the papers more and more people are being attacked by kitties.....i feel sorry for the unarmed tree huggers out on a nature walk..lol.... |

Aint that the truth glock29rd. Another problem we have been having here in Idaho are with the wolves. During a late season muzzle load elk hunt this past winter it seemed that everytime I cut tracks on an elk, sure enough, there were the wolf tracks............

We haven't yet had the wolf issue in Utah yet but it is coming![:@] I did see 12 cougars and 7 black bears while deer and elk hunting last year though! Before last season I had only seen 1 cougar and 0 black bears in Utah! This is nuts! I need to get some tags for these critters!
