carbon county utah?
 

hi. i have some friends in carbon county utah with a farilt large peice of land they said i could hunt. but they dont hunt so im wondering how the hunting is in that area and what animals i might find. any help would be great.

can anyone tell me anything about the erea at all? what kind of game stuff like that? i have only hunted here in washington so i have no clue

Pup, call 1-877-UTAH-744 and find out the enforcement officer or state biologist for that area. I don't know if that's the exact number you need, but I'll bet they can tell you. They could tell you more about that area than anyone besides the property owner or a neighbor. Then I'd head over for a scouting trip. Depending on the size of the property and type of terrain, animals may use it all the time or just pass through. That'd be something locals could tell you. If there is a sporting goods store nearby, that may be worth a shot too. Keep us posted, and let me know if you need a partner.:D

I hunt in carbon county sometimes and let me tell you that you have to do some serious scouting if you want success. Otherwise you will do a lot of hiking around with out any pay off. Get out there now to start to see where about the deer are and their migration corridors.
