Idaho Unit 11A help
 

I drew an antlered mule deer tag for this fall (late October) for Unit 11A. I'm finding there is less access to the little bit of public land in this unit than I thought. Anyone on here familiar with the area? Or can point me in the right direction? I heard Jack's Canyon is good, but appears to be surrounded by private land.

I know this reply will be too late but for future reference unit 11A is very restricted on public access. There are a handful of small state and BLM land parcels along the clearwater river which tend to be very steep. I imagine it would be possible though to find some mulies in some of them. I live in the area so if you need any help in the future regarding that area just PM me.

Did you end up having any luck with that tag?
