Montana Extending Shoulder Seasons
 

Montana is looking at extending shoulder seasons in most areas, the area I hunt is in region 5, the first couple years state allowed the taking of cow elk until Jan. 1st, now wanting to extend it till Fed 15th....to long in my opinion, FWP is taking public comment and holding meetings across state to hear people's opinions.

The biggest problem with extending the season is killing cows with half developed fetues. I'd have trouble doing that...
