Planning hunt in the Bighorns
I'm planning a trip to the big horns in Wyoming and plan on staying in Buffalo. I will be hunting mountain lions, was wondering if anyone had any pointers, I'm very busy and have a baby at home so I'll only make it out once for a quick hunt, and hoping someone has useful pointers.
I will be taking my own dogs and going with a buddy or two. Going to be hunting with snow and we all have experience running cats, we just don't know the area or what hunting in that area is like.
I see there is some BLM land south of the forest land that looks promising, was wondering if anyone knew if it was accessible, and if landowners were easy to get along with. I've never hunted BLM land but I know sometimes it's not easy to get on.

I don't have any advice for you. But due to poor planning on my part, I spent one of the coldest nights of camping I've ever done in the bighorns. Motorcycle trip around 2010 probably. I camped there. Pretty decent weather when I set up, but by morning it was cold and two inches of snow. Sketchy ride back out.
Beautiful country.
