Hanting new las vegas
 

Hi hunters. New to this forum. Recently I decided to go for rabbit hunting. Basically I got most of the things I need for hunting but I need to know where can I hunt some rabbits. 2 things I want to mnow: where is it legal and illegal to hunt and where of the legal places is a good spot for hunting . I don't want to go too far from Vegas. Maybe like an hour drive.

A lot of ground east of Vegas is blm. You should be good there. As long as you know what's behind your shot

Thank for your suggestion. I was thinking to go that direction.but also I need to be careful for nellis airbase and conservation areas

Contact Fish and Wildlife. My bet is they can not only provide maps showing pub lands but might be able to point you at a biologist who can focus your efforts on a productive area. It never hurts to ask them since that is what they are there for.
